Day 1: Passing Through Bangkok



Our flight departed from Manila at 9:35pm and arrived in Bangkok at 11:25pm.

Note: For first time travelers, please bear in mind that there is a one hour difference, Bangkok being an hour behind.

We checked in without incident at NAIA Terminal 3 and each paid the Php1620 travel tax and Php550 terminal fee. We passed through Bureau of Immigration who asked us routine questions. (Don’t expect for BI staff to be warm and fuzzy. We learned that no matter the country, all BI staff seemed and are expected to be if not rude, totally smile-free. Avoid trying to be nice either, it just make them more suspicious.)

Note: Please note that the fees were based on the date this was written.
