28 Countries warn on traveling to Thailand

28 Countries have cautioned their citizens to be more cautious on the journey to Thailand due to the demonstration against the government.

UPDATE: 14/1/2014 There are now 45 countries warning on travelling in Thailand according to Nation Breaking News reports.

Sugree Sithivanich, deputy governor for marketing communications of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), said that now there are 5 more countries which have announced a warning on travelling to Thailand.

These 5 new states are:

  • Australia
  • Hong Kong
  • Ireland
  • Russia
  • Switzerland

The other 23 countries are:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • China
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Finland
  • France
  • Hungary
  • Italy
  • Israel
  • Japan
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Singapore
  • Slovakia
  • Spain
  • South Korea
  • Sweden
  • Taiwan
  • United Kingdom
  • United States
